Funny how 2008 is nostalgia and retro, but there is something about having thousands of high fidelity tunes at you fingertips without being “connected” online. Color display with wheel interface, no touchscreen, no bluetooth, no glitches.
Yes, you can play music on your smartphone, however, with distractions galore as your smartphone is designed to scrape and harvest your data to manipulate you into buying more stuff, vote for fascists, and experience more anxiety chasing click bait.
An iPod is designed to do one thing: play music. And it does that quite well. Great sound.
Is in working condition, including 30 pin to USB cable. Battery is original, and takes about half charge. Can be a bit finicky about USB chargers, using a USB blocker which is essential for traveling, makes that easier. Drives most wired headphones, earbuds. Requires iTunes, either Mac or Windows to load music files. Prime candidate for imod dot com or similar to replace battery and add SSD for Gigabytes more of storage.
Pattaya area. Can travel to BKK if serious. Save on import duties compared to eBay. Hold it in your hand to verify functionality.
